The house is situated in the small hamlet of Mas Des Clergue near the village of Octon. Mas Des Clergue is 1Km from the edge of Lac Salagou - a manmade lake - perfect for swimming, sailing, fishing and generally enjoying life! The area also has an ancient history. There are dinosaur footprints preserved in the rock and evidence of human habitation from the Palaeolithic and bronze age onwards. Agriculture and employment revolves around wine. Village festivals and dances are frequent in the summer and really friendly.

The house is less than half a Km from the lake.

Rent

• We rent the house out at a rate which covers costs, and thus not as a commercial let.
• The weekly fee is 2,500 French Francs in July and August, 2,000 French Francs during the rest of the year.
• This covers all costs, including electricity and gas, but not the use of the phone in the house.

The House

The house has two main bed rooms and a third room which can be used as a bedroom in the summer. Bedroom one has a double bed. Bedroom two has a double bed, a cot and two singles. There are also two camp beds which can go in the spare room or elsewhere. There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, large lounge (with two futons), a utility room (with automatic washing machine), toilet and bathroom as well as storage rooms, stable and a large terrace. The house is equipped for children with a cot, pushchair and back-pack for little ones and games, TV and Video (with Disney-type and Star-War videos) for older ones. Normally you should bring your own bed linen and towels. Let us know if you need them provided. Duvets are provided.
